The City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality is a metropolitan municipality that forms the local government of the East Rand region of the Gauteng province, a large suburban region east of Johannesburg. Ekurhuleni means "place of peace" in XiTsonga Language.


About the Learnership:



The City of Ekurhuleni invites applications from unemployed South African youth to apply for the 2025 / 2026 Learnership Opportunities.

 

Learnership Requirements:


  • Must have Matric / Grade 12 (or equivalent)
  • Must be between 18 - 35 years of age
  • Fluent in English


Selection Criteria:

  • Be South African Citizen
  • Applicant must be unemployed
  • People living with disability are also encouraged to apply
  • Ability to communicate with communities
  • Willing to attend training and placement with external provider
